Here are the rules for the guild, such as they are. :)

Any member may invite a new member to the guild. If you invite someone, please take responsibility for helping them get oriented. Please notify the Den Mother or a High Council Member so they can be promoted to the proper rank for their level.

Only the Den Mother may remove a member. Members of the High Council may demote members as well as promote.

If you are gone more than 30 days without letting the Den Mother know why, you will be demoted to Fetus rank. If you are gone more than 3 months, you will be removed from the guild. Illness and other emergencies will be taken into consideration and get you listed as AWL (absent with leave) rather than demoted.

Speaking of ranks... Ranks are gained by leveling your character. Only the highest rank must be earned by merit. To become a member of the High Council, you must be a major contributor (ie: time, funds, gear, knowledge, team oriented, etc). Members of the High Council are either charter members, or have been nominated and voted in by the other members.

NO BEGGING. If you are found to be, or I receive complaints of you begging for gold, silver, etc from guild members and/or the general WoW population, you will be warned once and removed from the guild immediately, without warning, if it happens again. This does NOT mean you can't ask guild members to make something for you. Likewise, you can ask guild members for help with gathering hard to get materials when you're trying to level one of your professions. But, no one is going to level your toon or professions for you.

The above being said; this is a free trade guild. We help each other level our characters as well as our skills/professions as much as we can. If at all possible we do so free of charge for materials (mats). Creation of higher level items and enchantments require more costly materials and may require you to provide some or all of your own mats for needed items.

We have a guild vault. Rules for it will appear below.

Every member shall treat every other member with respect.

Keep your language and your chat PG13. There are children under the age of 13 in this guild and some who are 50+. Offensive and/or degrading language will not be tolerated.

Guild Chat is for EVERYONE, not just guild business. Guild Business is done in Officer Chat or voice chat and occasionally in guild chat.

Roleplaying: We are on an RP server. While we are not rabid roleplayers, we DO enjoy it and participate in it sporadically. We're also a friendly bunch. If you don't like the chatter, ignore us.

Certain Addons (see Addons) *as soon as that page is added* are highly recommended, but none are required. For now, we mostly use addons from Curse.com. Guild2guild, (the main one) is used to talk between CoD and our sister guild, Small but Mighty. I also use damage meter, Omen threat meter, Cartographer, AtlasLoot, Roll tracker, Titan Panel, Outfitter and Auctioneer, etc. I have Vent, but I have problems with it, so we mostly use Blizz's voice chat for group runs.

Dungeon/Instance Runs

When we schedule dungeon/instance runs, whether they are spur of the moment or planned, please make sure you have ample time to do the run. Most runs take a minimum of an hour with some taking 3-5 hours. Emergencies are understandable, they happen, however if you consistently have to leave during instance runs, you will not be invited for future runs. Likewise if you consistently run off to do RL stuff and 'catch up' just in time to fight the boss so you can roll on the rare items, you will not be invited for future runs.

And last, but most importantly, while the goal is to have the best toon/guild/gear/etc, it's important to HAVE FUN! It's a game after all:)

Guild Vault Rules

Currently, we have 2 tabs in the guild vault. Tab one is accessible to all and contains items for levels 1-39. Tab 2 contains items for levels 40-70 as well as some lower level rare (blue) items. If you need more items than you are allowed to take out in one day, you can talk to me (or one of my alts), or one of the higher level members. In the case of lower level rare items, the same method applies. Items in the vault are for your personal use only. NOT for you to resell. That being said, I will occasionally pull items from the vault that have been there forever and sell them, putting the funds back into the vault.

If you have a higher level main in the guild and need something for a lower level alt, that is perfectly acceptable.

Please do not put vendor trash (grey items) in the vault. It fills up fast enough as it is :) also, please limit items deposited to no more than 2 of a kind at a time.

Funds in the guild vault are for guild improvement. They are NOT for your personal daily use. No one is required to donate to the guild vault fund, but all donations are accepted gratefully. I do make a note of those who contribute regularly and those who consistently take (whether it be items or funds) without contributing.

Using guild vault funds for repairs: This is acceptable occasionally, but it is preferable that you don't make a habit of it, unless you are replacing those funds regularly. It is understood by all that sometimes we're just too broke to make needed repairs. Or we're broke enough to have to choose between repairing and training... by all means, use the guild funds to repair and go train with your funds. Just remember to replace them as soon as you can.

In rare cases small loans can be made from the vault funds. Talk to the Den Mother or a High Council member to request a loan and make arrangements for repayment.

Remember, the guild is here for you, and you are a part of the team.
